At seventeen I went to the United States on a J1 exchange year. It was one of the most important years of my life. It opened my eyes and showed me how much studying abroad does for a person. After reading International Relations at Anglo-American University I decided to give all my time to what really fulfils me: helping students find the right educational path.

We start by going through the student's academic profile, their interests and their activities outside school. Out of that comes a strategy: suitable countries, types of school and fields of study, the choice of tests and essays, and the activities that will strengthen the profile. Then we work on the application itself, the personal statement and the other documents. I give feedback and help get the texts into the shape the particular universities expect. Once the applications are sent I stay available for interview preparation, paperwork and the practical questions that come with moving to another country. No general advice, only concrete steps for a concrete situation.

I work with students who already know what they want and with those who are still looking. What I enjoy most is the moment a student realises there are far more options than they thought, and that one of them fits them exactly. Families get lost easily in the range of universities on offer, and being the person who brings order into that is what fulfils me.

I have worked in international education since 2015. I started in agencies in the Czech Republic, worked in Canada and in Australia, and saw from the inside how different education systems work. From 2020 to 2025 I was the university counsellor at a Prague grammar school. Over that time I guided more than a hundred and ten students through their applications, to more than thirty universities in Europe, the USA, Canada, Australia and Asia.
