One package, one currency: credits. A credit works like a lesson, more demanding services cost more credits. The same applies to entrance exams, the maturita, the IB and university counselling. You only choose the size of the package, and we recommend it after the analysis or consultation.

How it works
One set of credits for whatever your child needs right now
Needs change during preparation, for the IB sometimes from week to week. Credits are therefore not tied to one subject or one tutor. You use them for whatever is needed right now.
- 1Credits work across the whole range.Individual and group lessons, maths, Czech, English with tutors at C2 level who learned it themselves as a second language and study in it at universities abroad, IB subjects, the analysis or university counselling.
- 2You change the mix as you need.For the IB, maths before a test this week, the Extended Essay next week. For the maturita, whatever is next: the didactic test, the essay or the oral exam in Czech, plus maths and English.
- 3You pay in advance, top up once credits run out.By card or QR code, credits are added once payment clears. We propose the plan and mix of lessons after the analysis or consultation.

What families ask us
- How much does entrance exam preparation cost?
- A Czech path lesson costs 1 credit, so from 900 Kč for a 50-minute lesson in the 64-credit package to 1,200 Kč in the 8-credit package. We propose the number of lessons after the analysis or consultation.
- How much does IB tutoring cost?
- An IB lesson costs 1.5 credits, from 1,350 Kč in the 64-credit package to 1,800 Kč in the 8-credit package. The price reflects the demands of the programme; the lesson lasts the same 50 minutes as on the Czech path.
- Why is the analysis paid?
- The potential analysis is a 60-minute meeting with Zdeněk Vlček and a written report, not a short chat. It costs 2,999 Kč as a standalone service. With the 16, 32 and 64-credit packages it comes back to you as 3 extra credits.
- Is the first consultation free?
- Yes. A short, no-obligation call, about 10 minutes, is always free. It helps us work out the next step together, whether that is the analysis, university counselling, or the right package straight away.
- What if we do not use up the credits?
- Unused credits are covered by the terms and conditions. We recommend a package size that matches the plan, and you buy the next package once you need it.
- Can we stop?
- A package is a one-off purchase, no subscription and no automatic renewal. You buy the next package whenever you want.
- Do you pay in advance?
- Yes, you pay for a package in advance by card or QR code, and credits are added once payment clears.
- Do you offer psychological services?
- Doučení jinak is an educational service. We focus on preparing for entrance exams, the maturita, the IB diploma and university counselling. We do not offer psychological care.
- Do you guarantee admission?
- We do not guarantee admission to a specific school or a specific result in the didactic test. We build diagnostics, a goal, a plan and a habit of preparation with you. The results our past students achieved this way are shown elsewhere on the site as a retrospective, not a promise.
