I am a university student studying economics. Curiosity has taken me to many places and led me to learn a great deal, including several languages. Outside my curriculum I have been studying Japanese for two and a half years. Learning new things gives me the chance to connect with others and see more of the world.

The most successful teachers meet their students' curiosity and interests and create a friendly atmosphere that helps them grasp the subject. In my experience curiosity leads to discovery, which makes students want to explore a topic in more detail, and that often reveals the point of view that makes it click.

With three younger siblings I often had to teach the tricky parts of their classes, and I took great pride in how they did. Seeing others struggle the way I once did makes me want to help them flourish, and perhaps inspire them to help one another too.

Four years ago I got the chance to study the IB. Two years later I earned my diploma and spent a year studying in the Netherlands. After coming back I continued with economics in Georgia. My journey has taken me across Europe, and now here.

My curiosity has led me to many interests: baking, gardening, reading, photography, art and discovering new cultures. Through art I found a love for jigsaw puzzles and the piano, and I enjoy collecting old currency, mint tins and souvenirs.
