About me

I am an international student in a university 6000km from home. I enjoy learning new things and getting immersed in absolutely new experiences, which is why I moved to Georgia to graduate from the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IB)  there when I was 16, and now I’m doing bachelors in Qatar. I have had my ups and downs in this journey, but I know for sure that being exposed to unknown things is a great pathway to personal growth.

My Journey: I studied in Belarus up until I was 16, but I changed multiple schools, and then moved to an absolutely new country all alone. It all happened very quickly, but it was a turning point in my life, and it gave me a chance to find my true self. Getting accustomed to change and finding common ground with very different people is something I am very proud of! Now I live in Qatar and get to learn about Arab cultures from within!

What motivates me: The reason I want to share my knowledge is because I know how exciting learning can be, and how important it is for our brain to get new information and stay flexible in this ever-changing world. I’ve had the best teachers throughout my studies and now I want to be that someone who can make a change in people’s lives.

Hobbies and Interests: My main interest is learning new languages and exploring new cultures. I speak 8 languages (not fluently though, I am working on it!) I love international relations, which is what I am studying in the university, and I also want to focus my studies on psychology!

My Approach: The main thing for me is that my students are interested in the lesson. I try to approach the new material through the prism of my student’s hobbies and interests, and I think that a friendly atmosphere is a great environment for growth. I value dedication and commitment, but also true personal connection and joy during sessions, because it fosters creativity and comfort.
